We spend alot of time walking here. One of the many perks of not having to drive, I suppose. Just a few snapshots of city life here…
That’s just a small portion of Central. (Similar to Chicago’s loop) The IFC is on the right – one of HK’s famed buildings and probably my favorite. And yes – bamboo scaffolding is the construction method of choice here!
Head south of Hollywood Road and you hit ‘Soho’ – Rows and rows of streets carved into the mountain, with an overwhelming amount of restaurants, bars, shops, markets, boutiques, and even wet markets (selling produce and flowers). Lots and lots of expats here… needless to say, this place is ALWAYS busy. (But pretty awesome they manage to tuck in a few mini shrines here and there?!)
Determined to hit every bar and restaurant before we leave!
