Yes, there are grocery stores here. (And really nice ones too.) But, if you want a really authentic experience, you shop the wet markets. Every district has one or more, and some can sprawl on for blocks. I stumbled across the Wanchai wet market on my way to the grocery store one day, and had to bring Jake back here. (Mostly just to torture him with the strong aromas of dead fish.)
Check out the selection below. That’s like $1-2 USD for these fish! If I hadn’t already suffered a case of food poisoning last week, I’d be down to try these. Maybe we’ll hold off for now.
